About Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI)

Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) is the largest plant conservation network in the world representing botanic gardens and plant experts in more than 100 countries.

We coordinate, empower and mobilise our network to carry out plant conservation prioritisation, planning, action and monitoring, preventing plant species extinctions and promoting sustainability.

Our network has a proven record of working with local, national and international leadership to conserve and protect tree species and to restore the ecology of landscapes.

BGCI has the people, facilities, and knowledge to prevent tree species extinctions.
